Bon Voyage, Matt!
On Feb. 2nd, 2010, ABS Secretary-Matt Gordon-left the USA for Isreal for a 5 month
working trip. Of course we all gave him a list of things we wanted him to bring back! Brother Kasey will be looking out for
Waffles-Matt's Betta! We wish Matt a safe journey and look forward to his return and his excellent meeting notes! In
the meantime, the Secretary position will be handled by ABS member, Jeana Earn.
May 2010-ABS International Show
We have got IBC Judge, Wayne McLain from Florida as
our lead judge and we have a fantastic location found by ABS member, Paul Reale! We are planning
on having the Betta Bar B Que during the show weekend! So, get ready ABS..The
Show Is ON!!

Congratulations to ABS members Jeana Earn, Michael Randall & John
Leach for their wins at the first 2 shows of the spring season! Jeana won 1st, 2nd & 3rd place wins at the GABBA show
for her photography!! Way To Go, Jeana! Michael and John both have done well with their wins at the Michigan show and the
GABBA show to keep themselves in contention for an award at convention!! Way To Go ABS!!
The First ABS Spring Show!
Congrats to the whole team of ABS on putting on a great show! With 240 fish sent in
from all over, it far exceeded the clubs expectations! Congrats to ABS members Michael Randall, John Leach, Jeana Earn, Ben
Lee, Cat Abrom, Larry Keating, Kasey Gordon for their many wins in the show! Big Congrats to president, Jamie Lee, for keeping
it all together and running smoothly and a BIG Thank You to Wayne McLain for flying in and judging the show! Our thanks to
The Garden State Betta Association for the winderful donation fish to our auction and to the many people in attendance to
purchase some of the finest fish ever bred! Thank you to everyone who participated but mostly, Thank You to the many members
of ABS for all their hard work and time!
